A two hours' visit to Lake Louisa State Park located 10 miles south of Clermont on Highway 27 can be extremely enjoyable.

This 4,372-acre (18 km2) state park lies on the shores of Lake Louisa in the northeast corner of the Green Swamp. It is one of 13 in a chain of lakes connected by the Palatlakaha River (Clermont Chain of Lakes). Five lakes are in the state park but only three are accessible by car.
